Girvin Road Improvements

On March 11, 2016, RB Baker along with design partner Mott MacDonald started a $17.5 Million Design Build project for the Jacksonville Transportation Authority.  This project  involves a 2.9 miles of  reconstructing the existing roadway to widening Girvin Road to a five-lane, urban roadway south of Ashley Melisse and three-lane north of Ashely Melisse.  The work will include curb and gutters, bike lanes, sidewalks, and center turn lanes.   The project is designed to improve capacity and traffic conditions through the roadway corridor.
