Floor and Décor Warehouse Savannah, GA

R.B. Baker was awarded the site work contract in October 2016 to construct a new distribution warehouse for Duke Realty Company in Savannah, GA. The 1.433 million square foot warehouse is located on a 90 acre site and will serve as a major distribution center for the proposed tenant, Floor & Décor. Construction began in November 2016 and the overall project completion date is November 2017. The current contract includes the removal of 250,000 cubic yard (cy) of overburden, construction of a 260,000 cy building pad utilizing both on-site and off-site materials, placement of 80,000 tons of graded aggregate base course, 6,000 Linear feet (lf )of 10” water line, 3,400 lf of reinforced concrete pipe ranging from 18”- 60” in diameter, the placement of 80,000 cy of surcharge material, and construction of a 5 acre detention pond.
